EN – Albert has loved dancing since childhood, first discovering folk dance in 1996. Then, during a magical evening in 2000, while dancing waltzes one after another in Plaça del Rei in Barcelona, he was invited to join a swing dance. That was the moment he discovered Lindy Hop.
Passionate about social dancing, he went on to discover Balboa in 2005. Towards the end of 2006, he began teaching alongside Gloria, helping to grow the Barcelona scene. By 2011, the two of them were being invited to teach at international events. Since 2014, Albert has been exploring new ways of dancing Balboa—approaches that, to him, feel more authentic to the person he has become and foster a deeper connection with his dance partners.
